A busy week ahead with Edge Grove’s Got Talent auditions! Mr Aitchison & Miss Saville are delighted to have over 70 students all the way from year 1 to Upper School auditioning! We are certainly in for a talented treat this week with an abundance of talent ranging from singing, comedy acts and rubix cube extraordinaires being showcased to us. It is going to make for some extremely difficult decisions to decide on a final 10.
Two pupils from each house will make the final on Friday 10th February commencing at 5.00pm. Finalists will be decided and announced in Mr Balfour’s assembly next Wednesday 25th January. Break a leg everyone!
One important key to success is self-confidence. An important key to self-confidence is preparation.
Luck is where opportunity meets preparation.
Good luck to all students who qualified and are competing in the table-tennis competitions this week. It is hard not to catch the excited and competitive attitudes around the atmosphere of the sports hall! A huge thank you to Mr Craxton for his expertise with this.
House Badminton Trials will commence next week. This competition is for Years 5 - 8.
Fancy becoming a scrabble, draughts or chess extraordinaire?
If you have an avid interest in board games and would like to enter the board games competition we will be running a lunch time competition on Tuesdays in the Jubilee Building and also on wet-break days.
I think people really underestimate the power of just wanting to do it, and hard work, and competitive spirit, and preparation.
