Many of our families will have celebrated Diwali over the weekend and, as the festival comes to a close, there couldn’t be a more fitting time to look ahead to light and new beginnings.
It’s another busy week at Edge Grove across all areas of the school. Year 6 and 8 exams are now well underway, as are the Lower School panto rehearsals. We are having this year’s performances professionally recorded so that you don’t miss out on the delights of this annual tradition.
The staff in Pre Prep are looking forward to parent consultations on Tuesday and Thursday evening and these are always a fantastic opportunity to get an update on your child’s progress so far. I also look forward to seeing Pre Prep parents at my take away coffee station on Friday morning.
Children in Need certainly made last Friday a very colourful success and I’m delighted to let you know that we raised nearly £500 for a very worthy cause.
Don’t forget it’s the Year 1 and 2 sponsored walk this Friday in aid of Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice, which is the local charity we have chosen to support this year. I know that the children are very excited and I too shall be dusting off my wellies to join in.
Wishing you a wonderful, healthy week ahead.
