Rugby season is now upon us, posts are erected on the main field and we look forward to our first festival this Thursday for the U8 and U9 teams. Rugby and Netball matches continue as do our U13 table tennis matches with Haileybury as this week’s opponents. We also celebrated successes in our U11 and U13 basketball matches last week as well as individual and team success in the York House cross country meet. Huge congratulations goes to Zara in Year 4 who was overall winner and to the U9 girls who were team winners.
The hard work continues across the school and not least in Year 8 with exams taking place next week. We wish all of our pupils the best of luck and look forward to the online parent feedback meetings which will take place during week 5.
Having just about recovered from the disappointment of the cancellation of the Carol Service, plans are already afoot for a concert in celebration of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. This will be a wonderful opportunity for our talented musicians and vocalists across the school to showcase the tremendous hard work that they have been putting in this year so far, not to mention a long overdue opportunity for us all to come together as a community.
