Happy New Year to all! The end of last term was a busy one for Houses. We had several competitions including our grand finale, the Christmas Competition! Due to COVID restrictions and the newly imposed bubbles, the competition had to be adapted from its intended form but nonetheless the children showed great enthusiasm and determination to complete the array of tasks on offer. A big thank you to staff for their support during a rather hectic few hours of creativity!
The children split into year groups and house teams and set out to complete the various tasks. There was a flurry of cotton wool balls, glitter and ribbon covering every surface! Well done to Gills who beat Stratton to the Christmas cup by 1 point!
This was just one of many competitions held last term and the winners of the House cup were STRATTON!
We are looking forward to the term ahead in which we have a lot of opportunities in store for all pupils, ranging from sporting events to story writing and a Creative Arts day!
