It certainly has been a very strange few weeks for us all and most importantly I hope that you are well. As we adjust to new ways of living with our families at home, or indeed missing our loved ones who are elsewhere, we now have the prospect of learning together differently too. Whilst this is yet another unknown, all staff have worked hard to prepare the virtual classrooms and are very excited to engage with the children once again. My Pre Prep colleagues and I have been amazed by the resilience and creativity of our children over the last few weeks and our days have definitely been brightened by the many photographs that you have shared. It is clear that baking has caught their imagination and chocolate creations in particular seem to be popular. The beautiful weather has encouraged us to all to stay active, whether that be helping around the stable yard, building an Olympic standard obstacle course in the garden, stargazing or planting seeds and bulbs. It is important to highlight the fact that as always, we are not only focusing on your child’s learning but on their wellbeing too and never has this been more important. Increased engagement will have a positive impact on this, but there is a wealth of Flourish information on The Source for both pupils and parents. There is also a Flourish coaching session this Wednesday on 'Managing change: Mindset & Motivation'. Click here for more information. As we begin the Summer term, please do continue to share your adventures with us, particularly beyond the learning structure as we especially enjoy your flipped learning interpretation of the curriculum and the pursuit of your interests and talents.
