Making decisions is part of daily life for us all, varying in importance and complexity. Some require skills a child may not have developed and as children get older the decisions become more important and more complicated which is why it is important to help children of all ages build decision making skills and provide opportunities for them lots of practice in an age and developmentally appropriate way.
Understanding the decision making process is empowering, it helps children to make confident, positive decisions in all areas of their lives, social, emotional and educational, with the added benefit of a positive impact on wellbeing. Join me for this workshop to explore how you can support your child learn and develop their decision making skills by exploring a five step plan that provides the scaffolding for making decisions.
