Whilst on the subject of health, I want to take the opportunity to remind you of the protocols for access to online learning when children are absent. Any pupil who has to be away from school because they are self-isolating due to a family member who has COVID-19 symptoms, or if they have tested positive but are otherwise well, has the ability to join live lessons as per the normal timetable.
However, if pupils cannot attend school because they are not well enough, whether related to COVID-19 or not, then it is assumed that they are not well enough to attend online lessons and Form Tutors will be advised accordingly.
If a pupil is absent from school whilst awaiting results of a COVID test, please let us know when they are well enough to begin attending live lessons at health@edgegrove.com and this information can be passed to Heads of School and Form Tutors.
In other, non COVID related news, it was a pleasure to host the virtual Meet the Head meetings for Pre-School, Reception and Upper School last week. I am looking forward to this week’s schedule and I hope you can join me tonight (Middle School), on Wednesday for Years 1 & 2 and on Thursday for Lower School.
Have a wonderful week.
Best wishes,
Lisa McDonald
