As the children have probably told you by now, last Friday’s Creative Arts Day was a real blast. House spirit and competition was well and truly alive as each team performed their own unique version of Hakuna Matata from the Lion King. It was such a joy to see children and staff from across the phases working together as hidden skills and talents were revealed; from Ms Toniolo’s choreography, Miss Jancey’s jungle moves and Mr Craxton’s comic timing!
We are looking forward to the week’s Jubilee celebrations which kick off tomorrow with our whole school assembly and culminate in our jubilee picnic celebration and red, white and blue day on Friday. Each pupil will also receive a commemorative jubilee badge from the school to mark this special occasion.
Please don’t forget the Friends of Edge Grove Outdoor Cinema day on Saturday 11th June – there are three showings to cater for all year groups. Tickets can be purchased on the website here.
I wish you a wonderful holiday next week if you are taking a break from the office and a relatively easier morning commute if you are not!
