Photography
This past week in Photography we have had to take the lessons virtual and I am so impressed with how the children have adapted to this.
In Rotation the children were learning how to use the colour selective tool. This is where you have Black and White as well as colour parts to the photograph. Congratulations to Sam and Theo for your excellent work. In Elective the children were editing their Texture photographs and they then had to present their edited photograph to the class and explain what tools they had used. Excellent work from Ediz and Steffi who both executed fabulous editing techniques as well as an in depth presentation explaining which tools they had used.
Music
This has been another extremely busy week in the music department. The Pre Prep are busy working towards their nativities and are being joined (virtually) by the Pre-School. Year 3 have been exploring the string instruments and how the different instruments work. Year 4 have also been working towards their productions of Roald Dahls ‘Revolting Rhymes’ and are nearly ready to perform what will be three very exciting and brilliantly performed plays.
Year 5 have been exploring programme music and have started to compose music for a car chase while year 6 have finished their storyboards and started to compose their own pieces of music for film using Soundtrap.
