Thank you to everyone who came along to the Christmas Fair on Saturday. There was a real festive buzz in the atmosphere!
Edge Grove Journalist, Sienna D in Year 6, wrote this account of the event:The Edge Grove Christmas Fair Sparkles AgainBy Sienna D, Year 6This year, at the Christmas fair, year 7&8 set up some stalls of original games to help out charities of their choice. Year 8 pupil, Luke M, said, “The mission for year 7-8 pupils at the Christmas Fair for us pupils was to try snatching as much money from your hands and to move it on to the less fortunate”. Some pupil stalls chose to support Ukraine, some for cancer and others for disabled children. There was a huge genre of games and activities to enjoy.
Lots of children had fun at the Christmas Grotto and visited Santa Claus, and in the theatre and sports hall, amazing preloved and brand new toys and books were being sold for less than half of the price that you would see in the shops! A number of sellers also had beautiful handcrafted items for sale including some of our own staff. The Christmas Fair provided a great opportunity to get some early Christmas gifts at the lowest price!
