We are seeing an increase in the number of positive cases throughout school and so we ask you to remain vigilant if your child is unwell and develops symptoms of COVID-19. You should not send your child to school if they have symptoms and we would urge you to seek a PCR test before they return to school. We would also encourage you to continue to use lateral flow testing as this has been an effective method of identifying asymptomatic cases.
The Upper School children and all staff will now, in accordance with guidance, wear face coverings in communal areas and hand sanitising and good ventilation have now become the norm in classrooms. We would also politely request that all visitors to school wear a mask when indoors unless they are exempt.
We are also actively taking steps throughout the school to reduce unnecessary mixing between year groups, especially where there are known active cases among the staff and/or children. Heads of Phase will notify year groups individually of any immediate changes to plans.
