An important aim of ours is to keep on building upon the palpable sense of house-spirit throughout the school and parental body through sheer commitment, unique competition ideas and new initiatives.
It has been joyous seeing all of the submissions come in for the current house competitions and we have noticed the amazing effort and time pupils have put into their creations. Thank you for all of your support with your children at home, we can tell that house competitions have been the topics of some dinnertime conversations and the creativity and thought going into them is amazing. Lots of house points are certainly up for the taking!
Our action plan for house competitions ranges from many approaches including: whole school community, specific phases/year groups and specific ideas focused for our youngest pupils to encourage and build upon house-spirit from their earliest moments in school life to hone in and create comradery from the Pre Prep. Year 8 pupil captains are taking on excellent responsibilities by championing a strong house spirit across the school and encouraging everyone to take part!
