Now that the cooler weather has hit we started the week off easily with a film night in the new boarders' Common Room, with a few of the boys deciding to play Fifa instead. Tuesday morning saw Miss Dolly making pancakes for the boarders for breakfast which went down really well and set them up for the day. In the evening they all enjoyed a few very competitive games of Dodgeball with a variation of teams. The boarders had a great run around the Sports Hall and then enjoyed the rest of the evening up on the boarding floor. On Wednesday after dinner we all went over to the Music Room. The majority of our boarders learn instruments so it was great for both Miss Hughes and Mr Wagstaff to listen to a variation of music. After half an hour of practising we then all headed to the Sports Hall to play Basketball.
On Thursday the children enjoyed fish finger and salad wraps followed by the most amazing chocolate brownies with chocolate ice cream. After such an indulgent dinner the boarders all took Roxy for a walk and then finished homework, packed and chilled upstairs.
On Friday morning the children all left the boarding house very happy with tummies full of scrambled eggs on toast or porridge.
We hope that everyone has the best week and we look forward to card games, movies, basketball and walks next week.
