It is that time of the year again! Friday 17th March is Red Nose Day!
Comic Relief’s telethon raises money for causes at home and abroad, with donations this year helping those in the UK struggling to afford food and the people of Turkey and Syria affected by the devastating earthquake.
The Edge Grove Community and Outreach Committee, invites you to donate towards a special Red Nose Dress Up day on Friday 17th March. Your children can bring their red noses, Comic Relief t-shirts and/or superhero outfits! Do please remember that costumes must allow pupils to participate fully in all of their lessons.
A donation of £1.50 will be added to the end of Summer term invoices and donated on your children’s behalf to raise funds towards this wonderful cause! If you would like to opt out of the donation please email office@edgegrove.com by 5pm on Friday 10th March.
All year round, the money donated to Comic Relief works hard to support some incredible projects making a change to people's lives across the UK and around the world. In fact, over a two year period, Comic Relief funding has helped to support 11.7 million people!
