This year, we are not able to carry out our service of Remembrance in the usual way but a lot has been going on behind the scenes to ensure that we come together in spirit across the school tomorrow at 10.30am, with the observation of a 2 minute silence at 11.00am.
Last week, it was fantastic to hold a bonfire for the Upper School and the feedback from the children has been really heart-warming. We mustn’t lose sight of the importance of these events in the school calendar and it was brilliant to see the children having so much fun.
As we’re not able to run our Open Day as normal this term, we will be offering a virtual event, filming for which took place yesterday around the school.
The Pre Prep children are gearing up for their charity walk next Friday, which will be in aid of the Noah's Ark Children's Hospice in Barnet. This is a local charity we have chosen to support this year which provides practical and emotional assistance to families with seriously ill children. There will be more charities news coming soon as the Committee helps to decide which national and international charities we will be supporting over the coming months.
