Over the years Edge Grove has benefited from several legacy gifts made to them from past pupils and staff. Just recently we have been informed that we will be receiving a legacy gift from the estate of Mrs Puddy Pratt, (wife of Jimmie Pratt ex Headmaster) for which we are incredibly grateful. We hope to use this gift to provide an outdoor music area for the pupils to enjoy.

The Development Office at Edge Grove was established in 2017 to play a pivotal role in fostering lifelong relationships between parents, alumni and the school’s extended community and to also raise vital funds for the school. Progression and development is key to the continued success of any organisation and this is no different at Edge Grove. We do not run our finances at a significant surplus and so it is the generosity of today’s Edge Grove School community providing those extra items that help enhance and enrich learning both inside and outside the classroom. Fundraising though the Development Office therefore plays a central role in our drive for excellence.
Below you will find a summary of our Development activity from last year as well as an overview of activity since the Development Office was established in 2017. You can read more about the Development function at Edge Grove here and please do not hesitate to contact Sue Maughan, Development & Alumni Manager, on smaughan@edgegrove.com if you have any questions.
New trees planted
We recently planted two new trees which were kindly donated to the school by our 2020 Year 8 leavers in the summer. We have planted them at either end of the Paddock and they will make a great addition to our beautiful setting. Thank you!
