Old Boy Philip Jenks (EG 71-76) sent in some historic photographs of productions he was involved in during his time here. Below are a selection of photos from the productions of Cinderella and Aladdin in 1976. The incredible sets were painted by John Walton (EG 37-41) who was an art teacher here at the time. We would love to hear from you if you remember being in a production here and if your love of theatre remained with you after leaving the school.
We have also just had our first production in front of a live audience for two years due to Covid. Across three days and nights, our Year 5 & 6 pupils put on six performances of Peter Pan and what a delight it was! It was truly wonderful to see the children performing again and bringing such joy to the theatre. We have put some photos below for you to enjoy.
